A scalable, multi-location website built to reflect Katoni’s growth and capability

Katoni Engineering is a growing engineering consultancy delivering specialist services across multiple sectors. With operations expanding beyond Aberdeen into additional locations including Westhill and the Netherlands, the business has evolved significantly in both scale and capability.

The Project
Katoni’s existing website had served the business well but no longer reflected the scale, structure, or capability of the company as it stands today.
As the business expanded into multiple locations and introduced a broader range of service lines, the existing site made it difficult to clearly communicate what Katoni does and how those services connect. Navigation lacked clarity, service offerings were not fully represented, and internal content management was becoming increasingly restrictive.
The objective was to rebuild the website around a clearer structure that supports both user experience and internal usability, while positioning Katoni appropriately for its continued growth.

The Solution
We delivered a fully bespoke website designed around clarity, scalability, and long-term usability.
A new site architecture was introduced to properly separate and connect Katoni’s solutions, services, and capabilities, making it easier for users to navigate and understand the full offering. Dedicated service pages were created to showcase each discipline in detail, supported by improved internal linking and clearer user journeys.
The website was built with a robust CMS system that allows Katoni to manage services, case studies, resources, news, and careers across multiple locations. Careers functionality was structured to support recruitment as the business grows, while form-protected resources provide a simple way for the team to capture enquiry data from downloads.
To support ongoing use, we implemented Webflow client seats, giving Katoni’s internal team direct access to manage content safely within controlled constraints. This ensures the site can evolve without compromising structure or design quality.
From a front-end perspective, the site features a completely bespoke design system, supported by advanced GSAP animations and a custom loading experience. These elements enhance the overall feel of the site, creating a smoother, more modern interaction without impacting usability.
The result is a scalable digital platform that reflects Katoni’s current position and supports where the business is heading next.

Built for scale, not just launch
This project was approached as a long-term platform build rather than a one-off redesign. The structure, CMS, and page architecture have all been designed to accommodate future growth, making it straightforward to introduce new services, expand content, and adapt the site as the business evolves across locations.
