With over 16,000 members built up since its inception in 1946, the Vintage Motor Cycle Club are a well-respected establishment in the motorcycle community. To mark their 75th Anniversary, we were enlisted to produce a collection of merchandise befitting of this occasion along with a new web shop to sell the products and help raise the profile of the historic club.
For their Anniversary, the VMCC wanted a special logo to celebrate the occasion. Featuring a commemorative gold trim and font, with a contrasting blue background, the new graphic stands out in 2021 as much as it would have in 1946.
The collection of items needed to be timeless, durable, stylish, and reflective of the previous 75 years of the VMCC, whilst looking to the next 75. The limited range was hand selected and designed to fly off the shelf but for such a special anniversary we felt as though we needed to go that one step further. Complete with the newly designed crest, we introduced the VMCC to their brand-new 75th anniversary watch. With a production run of only 75, these limited-edition watches were the final piece of the puzzle to elevate the VMCC’s 75th celebrations to the next level. Matching style with durability, these watches complimented a day on the bike as much as an afternoon in the workshop.
The VMCC needed a web shop to take the new range to market, so that’s what we gave them. A brand new e-commerce site that was modern, stylish, and accessible. In keeping with the overall product design and colour scheme, we built the e-commerce website with the client in mind whilst adding a few flourishes of our own. The durability and accessibility of the site was immediately put to the test, with customers flocking to the site to get their hands on the watches, and the other new items, before they were sold out. And that didn’t take long at all. The watches were gone in less than 24 hours – a testament to the design and the accessibility of the site.
