Minto have supported the Aircraft Carrier Alliance since 2015 through the design and production of their monthly publications, The Carrier Waves and News of the Wales. We also support their recognition scheme and provide PVC Mesh Banners to reinforce messaging across the Dockyard.
HMS Prince of Wales, the second of the Royal Navy’s two future flagship Aircraft Carriers being built by the Aircraft Carrier Alliance, was officially named on 8 September during a ceremony in Rosyth Dockyard, Scotland. Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Rothesay, followed Royal Navy tradition by triggering a bottle of 10 year old whisky from the Laphroaig distillery in the Isle of Islay, smashing it against the ship’s hull.
For the naming ceremony, Minto supported the event in helping define the naming ceremony branding for employee engagement, the design and production of the event programme, VIP Tickets, Employee Tickets, Car Parking Passes, PVC mesh banners and the display materials for the VVIP, VIP and Families areas post event which included, pop up banners, Uno displays and the eye catching Star display; a three sided event display which the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay took in and walked round whist meeting families from the Aircraft Carrier Alliance and the HMS Prince of Wales Ship’s Company.
