We have an exciting opening for a Junior Digital Designer to join our in-house team. If you have experience working in a digital environment, belong to a forward-thinking company and are interested in becoming part of a team dedicated to excellence, we want to hear from you.

Reporting to the Studio Manager, as a bright, creative and ambitious designer, you’ll be responsible for delivering high quality work. You’ll take pride in the accuracy and creativity of your work along with a high level of efficiency.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with 1-2 years experience to develop and gain valuable digital and creative skills.

Responsibilities:

• Working with clients to deliver website projects from initial brief through to completion.
• Manage projects from ideation to production completion.
• Assist in the creation of client proposals as appropriate, including pitching concepts.
• Create industry-leading interfaces that help drive business results.
• Updating and maintaining client websites as required.
• Be able to communicate complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences.

Requirements for the role:

• Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual / visual ability and originality.
• Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas.
• Relevant university or professional degree, or relevant experience in the field.
• Have knowledge in using website page builders with WordPress (Beneficial).
• Have knowledge in basic CSS or integration of plugins when required (Beneficial).
• An understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development and deployment, with some back-end knowledge, would also be beneficial.

Key attributes:

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator are essential).
• Experience with Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch or similar tools.
• Proficient in all areas of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
• A strong understanding of emerging web-technologies and design software.
• Ability to find quick and clever ways to overcome challenging tasks.
• Confident in both client and company meetings.
• Willing to learn new skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Hardworking, adaptable and can work confidently within a group.
